My mother told me  I was eating sand before I was weaned.  I adore the beach, and always have.

I also adored books, and since my head was always full of people and their stories, it wasn’t much of a stretch to start writing my own, in between raising three children and working in PR.  I taught myself to write and switched from fiction to nonfiction seamlessly, publishing with the likes of Cosmopolitan, Teen, and other periodicals while penning my romances. 

I unwind by hiking west coast beaches, relaxing in my hot tub, or scouring the movie stores in search of romantic movies with happy endings, which seem to be in short supply.  I enjoy teaching writing workshops, traveling to sunny destinations and recently took up golf.

I believe red wine and dark chocolate are basic food groups, and that nothing does a body more good than friendship, laughter, and a happy ending.
